DICOM Server Creation

New Dicom servers are created with the option button:

• Add new server: Creates a new server with the default settings.
• Duplicate server: Creates a new server using the settings of the currently selected server.

The server name needs to be specified during server creation, but can be changed later using the Edit server name button.

The default installation creates two Dicom servers: PMOD as MAIN (First server) and PMODQ as Auxiliary (Second server). These servers are internal DICOM server and have as default ports 4030 for PMOD and 5003 for PMODQ. Note that these two server can not be removed from the configuration.

When a new DICOM Server is created the Port number is updated automatically. The first port number allocated when a new DICOM server is created first time is 4032. All new created DICOM servers are STANDARD servers.
