Correction and Calibration of twilite Measurements
Data acquired in a live twilite experiment represents the count-rate of activity in whole blood. The following corrections have to be applied for converting it into a whole blood tracer activity concentration:
- Subtraction of the intrinsic background.
- Decay correction to the same time as the PET data, namely the PET scanner start time.
- Multiplication with the calibration factor.
