PMOD is a Java application and is currently available for 64-bit operating systems: Windows, Linux and macOS. Workstations are recommended for high resolution or dynamic experimental data. 32 GB RAM, a multi-core processor and a dedicated mid to high-end graphics card are recommended (e.g. NVIDIA Quadro, 4GB VRAM. GeForce gaming cards not recommended).

Version 4.4 supports both Intel and Apple Silicon (based on ARM architecture as M1, M2, M3) processors. Versions prior to 4.4 only support Intel processors.
